    Turnaround

Fresenius Kabi is a global healthcare company that specialises in lifesaving medicines and technologies for infusion, transfusion and clinical nutrition.

In order to meet growing business demands, Fresenius Kabi had an immediate and pressing need to replace their ageing Aseptic Services Unit (ASU) with a larger, fit for purpose and state-of-the-art GMP manufacturing suite.

Following a competitive tender process, T-SQUARED was engaged as the preferred specialist partner to fast-track the design, construction and validation of this new cutting edge facility.

Through an extensive period of design workshops, stakeholder collaboration and corporate agreements, T-SQUARED’s team of experts developed a detailed scope of works for the ASU 2 scheme.

Utilising our fully integrated in-house design expertise, our architecture, MEP engineering teams and regulatory compliance specialists seamlessly blended their skills to offer a comprehensive turnkey solution.

Developed to provide a complete stand-alone facility, ASU 2 incorporates multiple layers of resilience and back-up to ensure continued uninterrupted manufacturing, without intervention, can be maintained.

Designed to accommodate 200 staff, the facility incorporates Grade A isolator and RABS sterile manufacturing within cleanroom suites (Grade D, C and B), CNC supporting areas, coldstores, freezer, comms rooms, locker rooms, and other general break-out and welfare spaces.
