Thermo Fisher Scientific’s single-use technologies are used by biopharma companies worldwide for drug development. Global bioproduction demand promoted the requirement to increase cleanroom manufacturing capacity for their single-use bioprocess container (BPC) systems to provide shorter lead times and improve overall global supply efficiency.
Following a competitive tender process, T-SQUARED was appointed to refurbish and upgrade a 2,000m2 ISO7 manufacturing cleanroom.
T-SQUARED’s project management team was significantly challenged to ensure zero impact to Thermo Fisher’s existing site manufacturing operations. An aggressive programme, particularly during the latter phases of testing, commissioning and validation, demanded 24-hour working
The works entailed the refurbishment and upgrade of over 2,000m2 of ISO7 manufacturing cleanroom facility. Project delivery logistics included careful phasing to maintain existing manufacturing areas in constant operation and without interruption.
The T-SQUARED design allows us to future proof our facility to meet our customer future demands.
