T-SQUARED Secures Major Contract Wins and Framework Agreement with MHRA

T-SQUARED has strengthened its long-standing relationship with the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) following the successful completion of a highly specialised laboratory refurbishment project and has now been awarded further contracts, including a multi-year framework agreement.

The recently completed works involved the full redevelopment of a microbiology laboratory, media preparation area, and a Containment Level 3 (CL3) suite. Delivered on a secure government site, the project met exacting quality standards, was delivered on budget, and completed ahead of schedule.

Building on this success, T-SQUARED has now been awarded the contract for the refurbishment of two Containment Level 4 (CL4) laboratories, which are among the most tightly regulated and technically complex environments in the world. The scope includes the integration of two large autoclaves, a challenge that requires not only specialist knowledge of high-containment environments but also deep expertise in the coordination of critical systems within secure settings.

CL4 laboratories are rare and built to handle the most dangerous pathogens; their design and construction require exceptional levels of precision, control, and compliance. T-SQUARED is one of very few organisations capable of delivering such facilities, drawing on decades of experience in secure science, defence, and healthcare environments.

In addition to the project wins, T-SQUARED has also secured a new design and build framework agreement with MHRA. The framework, initially set for three years with an optional one-year extension, establishes a platform for continued collaboration on future critical infrastructure projects.
